Good point Steve but I think I'll try it, Gloss Black mind

Got a replacement radio today, mine had a few buttons with scratched off paint so when it was on the light would shine through, not good enough! The new one had a marked power button and the volume keys were sticking plus the fascia was scratched and shiney so I could just swap the radios over (and no, you can't just swap the face plate, you have to change the whole stereo it seems!).
The bottom is my original one.
I decided to risk it and take them apart to make one good one out of two rough uns!
I'm using the original faceplate and therefore radio but changed the damaged buttons on the my old one from the new one. Bloody fiddly or what! Took my literally an hour! i was worried the cat would start playing with the buttons on the table lol
In progress:
All back together and in place, original apart from the Bass/Fade, Eject, 2 + 3 buttons. So for £20 was it worth it? Probably not lol
The eject button needs touching up but that's easily done, it's just a shame I can't sell on the one I got as it's got a couple of sticking buttons, oh well!
