850 cold passengers arse!

The Volvo you want to know something about isn't a 480, but you can't find the answer to your question anywhere... Well, what the heck, have a try here in this corner of Volvos friendliest community...

850 cold passengers arse!

Post by Roo » Thu Mar 30, 2006 9:02 pm

Right, bare with me as its a long one! Before I changed the interior of my 854 T5 (cloth to leather, mmm  ) I had a passengers heated seat problem. Whenever the seat switch was turned on, the fuse would blow. After doing some fiddling around a found the wire had broken off at the seat base. Once i reconnected it i tried the switch and the fuse blew again. Once replaced though and the seat disconnected, the switch no longer lights up (ie the red indicator, the night illumination is still ok) My drivers seat works fine with no probs but now i have a totally dead switch on the passengers side. Is there a further fuse elsewhere on the system or have i missed something?
As that is a pretty confusing description i can elaborate further if required! words are not my strong point :D
