Changing 740 front suspension!

Post by guitarcarfanatic » Wed Feb 22, 2006 3:30 pm

Hey gang!

I am looking at changing the front suspension on my 740 estate as its knackered. I have ordered the conmplete suspenstion struts(top mounts, shocks, springs) and they should be arriving soon. Now I need to ask will this unit just bolt out as one or will I need to take the parts off individually? I have flicked through Haynes but it's not too clear. I assumed it would be a case of unbolting the top of the mount and then pulling it out as one complete unit? TBH I dont know much about suspension though or how it works as I have yet to have problems with it!

ANy help is greatly appreciated!
