MR2 or Alfa??

The Volvo you want to know something about isn't a 480, but you can't find the answer to your question anywhere... Well, what the heck, have a try here in this corner of Volvos friendliest community...

MR2 or Alfa??

Post by David » Thu May 20, 2010 12:29 am

Hi guys,

Well ye all know your cars here so I'll put this to you know: This http://www.gumtree.ie/dublin/17/58429717.html
or this: http://www.gumtree.ie/dublin/69/58059369.html ????

The Alfa can be mine for 700 euro...almost half the asking price. It also has low miles (76k) and longer MOT. However I've had the MR2 checked over and its mechanically fine, just a bit of paint fade. It's also just had a timing belt change and has MOT until the end of the year. It can be mine for 1200 euro. At the moment my heart is saying MR2 all the way but my head is saying Alfa on account of the saving to be made. Nearly everybody else I've asked so far has said MR2 all the way but I'm not sure...

Somebody here make up my mind for me!

I'dd say mr2, unless you think you might need the extra space in the alfa?
