Suzuki Swift, knocking

from the near-side rear. It sounds like the shockbreaker isn't seated properly and hits the body every time I take a left hand corner. It's ok when going over bumps in a straight line, not so much when going over potholes (can you see a trend here? Yes, roads around here are crap). I've taken it in to a garage and they said nothing's wrong. In fact, I had to take it in twice for them to even admit there is even a knocking sound and they still insisted it was nothing and then charged me £15 for a spring that wasn't seated properly... Groan...

Anyway, any thoughts? I really don't need any more expenses :(

Check your anti roll bar drop links mate, and also check condition on cv joints..

Does it click loudly when turning a corner on full lock... ?
