440 alarm/immobiliser

The Volvo you want to know something about isn't a 480, but you can't find the answer to your question anywhere... Well, what the heck, have a try here in this corner of Volvos friendliest community...

440 alarm/immobiliser

Post by terrastudios » Fri Nov 10, 2006 9:13 pm

Hi all,

I've got a 440 1996 which came with the volvo keyfob immobiliser and alarm, but its packed in and I wish to remove it. I've had most of the dashboard apart and can not for the life of me find out where the main alarm module is - does anyone know of its location?

Many thanks!

Matt.
