I've Crashed My Car :(
I was going too quick round a corner-i was only doing about 20mph, but it was a sharp corner...the car skidded in a straight line and hit the kerb with an almighty thump.
The bodywork isn't damaged, which is good, but my near mint Taurus front drivers side is kerbed beyond all belief-not even sure yet if it's buckled.
I'm now heading to the Steering section to report my findings...
F**k i'm gutted. The word's f*****g w****r spring to mind...

Aww mate, bad news! Hope it's just replacing a wishbone as you said in the other thread.
Good luck with sorting it.

My 1.7 ES did something similar last night aswell. I know I was goign too fast though. Caught it luckily, but was a bit scary. I also noticed that if I do a steady 3500/4000revs in second(best torque level) and floor it the car will wheelspin in the wet, which is always quite cool considering you are doing35 MPH lol.
If you needs any bits, give me a PM as my spares car is ripe for the picking lol.

Bad luck Dan - roads are pretty slimy out there at the moment with not having rain for so long. Nearly ended up in opposite lane coming off a roundabout and being bit heavy with my right foot Friday in the Auto.
Me too on Sunday

Hmm, good call Sal - just remembered my drivers one doesn't work (although passenger one can cook rump around gas mark 6!).
Think I've seen on prev thread in Electrical it's usually the wires have disconnected under the seat or the wires bust in the seat padding - can anyone enlarge on this plse - both the lights on the actual switches work but only 1 seat heats. Sorry if this should be in Electrical, just being a lazy leek muncher (Joolz!).
If anyone has extra info plse reply in Electrical - sorry Dan!
Stu.

You're ok Stu...i've hi-jacked a few threads in the past!
Managed to get a new wishbone sorted-bushes, bone and delivery all in, £48 and a few p...
Just hoping the the damage is limited to the wishbone and nowt else!
The conditions were actually mega dry, but i think as Stu mentioned, the roads are a bit shitty atm-i noticed a bit of wheel spin several times last night-they were the signs, i just didn't notice! D'oh!
Ah well, these things are sent to try us! I'm just thankful it wasn't the splitter, or lights or wing or bumper. Giving me second thoughts on having it lowered! Now that would have been nasty....
