OK, I've now had enough. I gave Dave an ultimatum to get me his calculations of what money he owes me witin 24 hours or I'll take things further.

So today, I got in to find an email from DBS, telling me he owes me £50

So, for over £2000 that I gave him for a heap of stuff I haven't got, he owes me £50????

Hope you do all get your refunds though. I really do.

I'm gonna have to consider my options now...



(And you can tell how serious an issue this is by the very fact I've decided to be public about it now, which I have resisted doing for months now)

I guess the first thing to do is to document everything, and then go and get some advice.

£2000 is not a tenner, and it looks like the website is not on-line anymore, i would definatly take things further, go to trading standards or somewhere.

I haven't a clue what you do about this sort of thing, but I guess Trading standards or someone may be able to help / point in the right direction.

try the Small Claims Court - a defendant just getting the paperwork through to show you are serious is usually enough to make people come to their senses - no-one likes possibility of CCJ's on their credit file.

If there's several applications against the same defendant it always makes a stronger case. And if they don't reply/show up judge will rule in your favour as matter of course. Likewise if they do show they get to tell their side of the story so it's pretty fair all round.

Get together and get your applications in if you have a genuine grievance guys. Supporting paperwork helps (invoices, quotes, bank statements, etc).

Well, you have my address already Dave - it's on the receipt which you no doubt have a copy of on your computer

I know I haven't written to you yet, but frankly, you have the same receipt I have, you know what you did and did not do, you know what I paid for, therefore it won't take much for your to work out exactly which large chunk of the money I gave you "ought" to come back to me, unless you want to have that "labour" discussion again...

On a similar note, you never did reply to me, nor write to any official club address with your complaint which you have mentioned in email to me. I, nor Daniel can take action if we don't know the extent of your complaint, including links to the posts in question.
