Fixing rusty bolts.....

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Fixing rusty bolts.....

Quick post from me... I'm sure many of you have to deal with rusty fixings. And you'll be pleased to hear, its not too expensive, or difficult to do.

Step 1: organise your rusty bolts into tubs.

Step 2: Cover in secret magic derusting solution

Step 3: Let it sit for 24 hours, then rinse with warm water, and coar with some Water displacement formula (that worked after it's 40th attempt)

Amazing results eh? As close to Zero effort as you can get.

I suppose you're wondering what this secret magic derusting chemical is? Probably something only available online, and in bulk quantities, that will push it far beyond the reach of the average person eh?

Nope!

Behold!

Enjoy!

Completely agree. I simply squeeze lemons, adding vinegar improves the formula. Citric acid removes rust and vinegar dirt.
