Any information?

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

I'm planning to spend a day or two in Gothenburg. Is there a visitor center for Volvo in the city? If anyone has been there, I'd appreciate any information.

Yes! The Volvo museum in Gothenburg.

Has basically every type Volvo ever produced there including lots of prototypes.

I believe there are a few 480s there including one of the convertible protos.

The Volvo museum closed and they are opening a new "Word of Volvo" in Gothenburg in April. If you're going in March you'll be disappointed.
I reckon you'll need to book tickets in advance at WoV.

Royhedger is correct!

you can however at present book a tour of the factory, which us supposed to be quite good, they produce the B90's there just now.

My brother was over start of january and got the tour!
