Rear light seals

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Rear light seals

Post by gltease » Sat Jun 03, 2023 1:37 pm

Hi Guys,

Is anyone currently making new seals for the rear lights?, I'm half way through refurbing replacement lights for R3 using Keith Coopers lenses.
And will soon be getting ready for fitting..
Cheers

Yes, Jeff has.

BUT when you remove the existing light units you'll find they're already sitting on nice new Jeff-produced seals.....

The rear side markers are also sitting on nice new Jeff-produced seals too😊

Well that's good, so they are reusable ?.. :)
Also good to hear the rear seals are new, R3 is booked into the paint shop end of June to get right side and roof repainted

Fully reusable, they're not sealed in with any form of sealant.

Good news re the paintshop - she'll be perfect soon!!😊

I bought the seals from Keith Cooper, can't you get any from him?

Nevermind, just read that the seals you have are already new
