Help! Daily driver just snapped clutch cable

Evening everyone.

I’ve just snapped my clutch cable on my way home from work, so
I’ll be sitting here in my 480 for the next few hours waiting for the breakdown truck to tow me home.

It’s a RHD UK car and last time I ordered one I was sent the much shorter LHD one that doesn’t fit.

I use this car daily, and am also restoring a second ( already used its cable)

Does anyone know where the RHD can be purchased new or does anyone have a spare I can buy from you?

What age is your car? Early model cables are different to later ones.

If it's later you need I may be able to help you...

Thanks for your reply. Sorry, I’ve been sitting here emailing lots of custom cable companies. Now getting too cold to type!!!

This car is a 1.7L 1992. My other car is a 2.0L 1993, and that’s the cable I borrowed for this car last autumn then the first one snapped. They appeared to be the same.

I really appreciate any help you can give me.

Yep, the cables don't vary with engine size; it was to do with the pedal box and release arm set up...

I have a spare cable from a 2.0i which should be the one you need.
