They have to be hosted eleswhere and then linked to on here.

I use www.postimages.org out of sheer laziness, other solutions are available so also see what other members do.

Once the image is hosted elsewhere, you can press the little photo icon which will them put the following "code" in to your post: You then paste the image link in between the and code

You are very close! Just past the "Direct Link" in (it ends with the file extension, in this case .jpg) rather than the image link

Unfortunately it is very complicated because this is a very old forum.

I must have been pretty close as you've obviously got the photo James, not to worry, hopefully I'll not need to post too many pics

If you "quote" James's post with the picture displaying, you'll see the format he used.

I use Flickr for this forum and others. Is enough to copy and paste the BBCode generated by Flickr.
