Old Car Magazine Articles On The Volvo 480 ...

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Old Car Magazine Articles On The Volvo 480 ...

Post by volcar16 » Thu Jun 17, 2021 7:03 pm

Random selection of 480 articles largely from the '80s (with the cover of the magazine it came from). Hope they're readable, they seem to get downgraded a lot when loaded. In the last article from spring 2004, Jay Kay from Jamiroquai hinted the 480 wasn't desirable so I felt the overwhelming need to leap to its defence and wrote to Autocar and my letter was published.

Very interesting.

It’s funny they note the harsh fuel cut off, I do notice this on my early car. Not much I can do about it really as it will be within the ECU.

Well done on defending the 480’s honour with a letter back to the magazine!
