Long time no post!

Has anyone else had troubles with covid / ebay?

I had a couple of buyer collect transactions in December that then could not be legally collected during lockdown 3. I am no longer able to contact the other party as ebay doesn't allow the sending of personal phone / email . Or messages after 90 days.

Am I the only one in this situation? Any work arounds?

Anyhow, if any of you know of someone called volvodoc on ebay can you ask them to get in touch with me on here?

The only issues I’ve had since covid has been people using Hermes! They’ve successfully failed to deliver 100% of my orders, which is why I know include a message on all purchases saying do not use Hermes to ship!

Hermes are abysmal......

Hermes are only as good as the driver covering your area. We have a rare beast - lady driver who comes back to check we found it if she had to leave a card when we were out to tell us where she put the parcel. Absolute gem!

As far as tracking someone down on ebay goes - I'm pretty sure I've bought from volvodoc in the past but sadly not recently. Your best bet is probably to use ebay's help to contact them either by live chat or phone.

Hermes here is good - I'm on good terms with our local guy who is conscientious.

But I've had more than one item I've sent get as far as the central depot then just disappear without trace.
