Volvo 480 meet once upon a time

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Volvo 480 meet once upon a time

Post by martinholmesuk » Sat Dec 05, 2020 12:23 pm

So i was backing up some old data and found this video I made. I'm sure I posted it a few years back but I think it's been deleted from you tube due to copyright.

This was 2005 maybe? Some other messing about too. Made me smile.... Fun fact I have the same steering wheel from vader (momo) on my 940 turbo.

"Access denied"

Is this only viewable to certain people or 'anyone with the link'? It wants me to change Google accounts (to one that has access to the video).

I'd love to watch!...

Wow what a fascinating glimpse into the noughties, how I wish I could properly experience that time.

I wonder how many of those wedges are still extant?

And a nice glimpse of a Mazda 323 4x4 Turbo as well

I changed the permissions. Your not going bonkers. Glad you all liked it. I don’t know how the club is now but back then it was very busy. I hardly see a 480 now.

No! It was me...I'm on a Mac and it's wmv file, isn't it.

Just watched it on my son's laptop. Thanks for posting.

I was at the camping weekend there with my J reg ES. I remember where it was parked but didn't spot via plate with the fantastic early digital days pixels! Loved the fact it was raw and not the 'everyone's a videographer' kind of thing you'd get now.

Mad to think a vast majority of the cars are no longer with us. All of these that we have now have come a long way really!
