Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

It's a little overdone, but as I am into car tuning myself, I really appreciate the work that has been putted in it. This you just don't do in a afternoon. It takes weeks!

I think those weeks could've been better spent in taste therapy
I think he/she has tried to mimick a Sierra Cosworth. Strange......

MatBat,
give the guy a break. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
He is happy with his Cheese Wedge and probabely very proud. Just like you and me with our own Cheese Wedges.

never dreamt they could turn a 480 in a dog shit shovel. Our town may need that one..
furthermore i agree with all, : I respect the work done. the grill in the center, above the bumper, is accepable: U get used to it soon. but the thing under..... So to see its also not very practical: it has collision damage everywhere.

IMHO this person has no taste...
It looks kinda similar to the one on the old board, from some French guy...

I think it IS the same one...
Wouldn't want to meet it
No, I personally do not like the way this car looks, but I am sure the owner is very proud of his personal bodykit.

is all I can say.
It probably took the guy ages and a lot of cost though.
So as long as he's happy with it.

Hey daz480GT
Just had a look at your photo archive, is that the standard steering wheel that came with your 480?
Also nice 1800ES, yours?
All the best

The 1800 series was a beautiful car from all angles.
Nice exhaust note also, well the ones I have seen anyway.
Ahh...... one day I'll get one.
Will always hold respect for the beloved 480 though. (in all guises
)
Regards
