Indeed - Happy New Year everyone! :D

Look forward to another year of 480s - the joy, the tears, the frustration, the successes...and of course some more excellent meets :hopping:

Happy new year to posters new and old.

A perfect opportunity to thank everyone who has posted over the years. Last night I was researching the auxiliary turbo water pump - loads of information to be had on here. Now that my 480 project has stepped up a gear,, it’s an invaluable resource.

I’m not so thankful towards Photobucket though!

All the best for 2020.

My hatred for photobucket will not cease, even after they've collapsed and gone bankrupt.

As for Auxiliary pumps, don't know how far you got, but you've reminded me I need to look at a Prius - They apparently have a neat little 12v pump for coolant and being Japanese, doesn't go wrong. it can also shift a mightily impressive amount of water (read that one bloke was using as a fountain for his pond!)

A belated happy new year to everyone too! All the best.

Judging from the posts, I see plenty of resurrected 480's being roadworthy on the horizon so let's hope Slyvia's meets are even more well attended than last year's fun times. ‎
