Volvo 480 Club Europe

Soo new to this 480 forum and I have loads of questions. Hopefully you can enlighten me and I'll try post them in the correct section .

Engine swaps

First question how easy to convert es auto to Turbo manual ? Is this an easy swap or does it need alot of fettling .

Second - How about Renault F4A how much work is involved in getting a complete engine and getting all the electrical bits to work . Would this engine be mounted to the Volvo gearbox or is the Renault usable . If it's relatively achievable without much modification I'd like to do this down the line .

Hope these questions don't come across to moronic I've pretty much only played with Minis up until this point .

Fraser's car is pretty special, running four carbs into a willaims engine, pretty much mechanical staright swap, he is running 'DIY' / home brew /after-market ignition/fuel system

so power up by 20 - 50%!

I think he used the engine/gearbox/shafts?
