Just open the bonnet of your car and Morris will come and inspect it. 
He also jumps into open trunks of cars, we have saved him from an unwanted trip outside town more than once, by getting him out a delivery van
He is the neighbour's cat by the way, our cat Tabby is not interested in cars. She comes to the parking lot when I get out of the car (or the back yard when I'm by bicycle) meowing, because how could I have possible dared to stay away for so long, I am her personnel and I must scratch her back and feed her NOW!
