wow - decent press for a change !

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Just been sent these two articles:
https://www.msn.com/en-gb/cars/news/cla ... ar-BBLKdaR

I don't get the 'Does it handle? Not really' - must have been written by some idiot who has never driven one.

This article however is on the mark with 'Cleverly, Volvo turned to Lotus for help with the suspension, which resulted in a car with excellent driving manners. Motor Sport commented on the “absolutely superb handling” before praising the ride quality.'

Most of the last paragraph of the first article is fairly suspect:
Does it handle? Not really. It’s far from lighting quick, either. You’ll need paper-thin legs for sitting in the rear and the boot offers a ridiculously small amount of space.
Either the author is a 9 foot tall olympic weightlifter with thighs the size of tree trunks who daily drives a transit van with rear seats, racing suspension and a supercharged V12, in which case his perspective on speed, rear seat comfort and load space is a bit skewed, or alternatively he was drugged and placed in the back of a Metro by somebody who wants to keep the price of 480s down...
