Hello,
Just wondered if anyone has tried both modded ECU's in the same car and what was the outcome?? I'd love to try a Robou mod in my 480 to see the difference.

Re: Richmod V Roboumod
Once we're back in the sunnier times, I'm more than happy to pop over and we can go compare?
Re: Richmod V Roboumod
If your blue EZ210K ECU has an extra printed circuit board holding an eprom inside plus the jumper on the right hand corner of the mainboard has been soldered to B800 then there will not be much of a difference, just the reaction on the throttle at low revs will be more direct with the roboumod.
But if the second PCB fails your ECU has only the boost changed, not the mapping. It is situated in the microprocessor and can not be changed, other than telling the processor to look elsewhere for it (the jumper to B801) and provide an eprom with the adjustments.
This different approach clearly has advantages. The only way to find out is using a rouboumod instead of a Richmod in your car, not comparing different cars. That will never be a good comparison. But if the Richmod has an eprom, it's not worth to bother.

Too old to bother
