Engine model compatibility ( new engine for my car)

I bought a 480 turbo engine take from a wracked car
The question is, can I put that engine in my 480 turbo?
If I remember correctly every engine have his ecu
How to understand if that engine in compatible with my ecu?
At first look is like mine
There are some model number printed in the engine than can give me the correct ecu to use and where is?

In my opinion a Turbo engine is a Turbo engine.

If you look at page 207, it lists the various ecu part numbers, but they vary according to chassis number. Can you get the chassis number for the car that the engine came from ?

No, there are differences! Every evolution of the engine (at least two different versions exist) comes with its own ECU. Differences in camshaft profiling and TDP sensor. Also the flywheel is different from 1991 onwards.

At the moment the only thing I can say is that my inlet manifold is black with chrome letters
And the engine from other car have the same inlet manifold black with chrome letters

Both a pre-1991 (phase 1) engine. Could be a good drop-in replacement. If it doesn't run you need to swap the flywheel, but I think it will work out of the box.
Before swapping the engine, change every gasket and oil seal, give the cilinder head a full overhaul, renew the water pump and of course the timing belt. But I think you knew this already

mine is year 91, in Volvo Vadis say 92
My ideas is open the second engine and put forged internal.
At home i have a full set kit gasket and a new timing belt kit ready to use
Plus a t25 turbo and 760 injectors all ready to fit
i have only to find forged pistons i hope
Intercoller i will fit my stock C30 T5 intercooler, i think can be enaught for the final power than i search, around 200-220 CV at the crank
