Hi all I have a question here that i think i know the answer to but want to check.
I have a 95 Celebration with two rear fog lights. Only one has worked since i bought the car but i recently decided to "sort it out".
I unscrewed it to find it was not wired, I then had a good look around for the wire that is meant to power it. I couldnt find a wire anywhere and so I had a look at the wiring diagrams in the old Hayne's manual and from what I can tell there isnt one and its just a fake light .... but i'm not very confident reading wiring diagrams yet so wanted to check.
Am I right or a complete moron (or both)
Thanks for your help

Re: Rear Fog Lights
you are correct it is a fake light.
Re: Rear Fog Lights
Post around 1992 they went from two rear fogs to just one on the offside - meets minimum legal requirements.
You can pull the bulb fittings out of a spare foglight, push them through the holes ready on the rear of the dummy unit, and then wire it across from the other one if you'd rather have two. I have done this on my GT and my previous Celebration as I think two are far safer, and on these cars their location low down means there is really no scope for confusion with brake-lights (which is the argument normally advanced for only having one, although in the ere of high level brake lights I personally believe that is a flawed argument anyway).

Re: Rear Fog Lights
I to purchased a spare rear fog light (you need to get the o/s that has the inners) and wired up like David
Looks good and it seemed a shame to have only one working !
