Volvo 480 UK Meet - 6/9/15

Hi everyone, I've just registered to the forum. I bought my first 480 5 months ago and I haven't regretted it once. I'm hosting a mini Volvo 480 car meet at The Tan Hill Inn, North Yorkshire next Sunday (6/9/15). Go onto Facebook and search 'Volvo 480 UK Meet', there are more details on there about the meet.
I was also wondering is there anybody who lives in the North East on here? I'm from Darlington.

Quite a good place for a meet-the highest pub in England. However, a bit more notice would be appreciated. I am from Worcs, and my car is not in bits so would have been interested given more time. That weekend I will be in Yorkshire as it happens, but near Whitby around Guisborough and Whitby and with the wife so have to behave myself!
Did have a good run around Bala Lake this weekend though-possibly another good meeting place as its possible to ride on the little railway there along the lakeside and there are a few Pubs in Bala.

I'd love to come but sadly my 480 isn't in the best of condition

aside from the mechanicals, it's had a spray job on the drivers door so bad there is in fact a hand print in the paint

it looks like they've sprayed it and then pushed it shut!

No, that's my 460 Turbo.

Well, I have a 2.0 manual too, swapping the gearboxes around. Long story!

Still after a speedo sensor BTW

Yes I have made you wait for the speed sensor

Quality takes time 'the engine is nearly on the floor so waiting for friend to come over so can lift car out of way as very tight space at the mo

Just notice this, as Steve said mine is in bits...two big bits, but bits nevertheless

Tan Hill Inn is a great location - I stayed over there a couple of years ago with my bird. We played Cluedo & drank 'Ewe Juice' beer. Recommended!
