Anyone seen my old celeb? 19/480

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Hi there

This is my first entry on any forum so I hope it is ok.
Your 480 Celeb is now living a quiet life in the Scottish Borders. I bought the car on e-bay at the biggining of July last year from a guy called Neil Murray in Huntingdon. The car was in very goog codittion and was my first purchase on e-bay much to the suprise and shock of friends. I have spent the winter sorting out a few minor niggles and having it checked out. My only regret is that the car did not come with all that history you had. Counting the guy I bought the car from it has had 5 owners since 1995, I think the fourth owner lost the paperwork.
This is my fourth 480, the first being bought in 1988, the second in 1991 and the last one in 1997. The last unfortunatley died in 2009.
I am really enjoying W***WJO and am afraid it is not for sale.
I don't have any pics yet, however it is unchanged from your ownership.
Currently 120500 miles on the clock.
Look forward to hearing from you.

All the best

Brian
