Hi
I've started striping my 480 for a re-spray and i've damaged the stick on decor along the full lenth of the car (side) its a plastic strip about 4inch thick and i'm thinking the car would look fantastic without the decor
What do you think

That was done to my first 480 before I bought it. It depends on personal preference I think...some people prefer the 'chunky' look with it, but others like the nice groove which is hidden underneath. Here is an example of what mine looked like without:
