Busy weekend
Hi all,
I've been busy working on my cars this weekend and thought i'd share a few pics.
Basically I needed to swap a few bits over from my old black turbo to the new white turbo. The black turbo is still good but has rust on the arches. I worked out that I dont have the time / know how to repair them to the standard I would like, so I have bought another, in white. I wanted the interior and stainless exhaust (bought from rpruen) fitted to the new car, and the black turbo has been given it's original interior and a normal (although almost new) exhaust.
I'll be selling the black one shortly as it'll make a good car for someone less fussy or as a project. I still like the black colour but I have seen the light, and its white white white!
So this weekend I have swapped over all of the interior (twice), fitted my Momo (whatever it's called, palm beach / daytona, I can never remember!), swapped the exhausts, tcut, clayed and waxed and now i'm knackered.
Fixed the heater element in my drivers seat whilst I was there too.

Looks very good. Can imagine how long you've worked on the car to do this. I was in the same position to choose whether I did get my 480 fixed and resprayed or buy another one. I chose to do the first, but if I had bought another one, it would have been a white one too. I've always liked white on the 480, unlike white on many other types of cars.
