Spare wheel - where to get replacement?

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Spare wheel - where to get replacement?

Post by surrealjam » Fri Jun 05, 2009 10:06 am

Hi all

I'm going away on hols tonight and stupidly left checking the spare wheel till now. It appears the valve has gone so got my friend to take it to kwik fit.

Kwik fit say they can't replace the tyre - only Volvo will stock them. Is this correct? If it is, does anyone in brum (preferably south) have one that could be picked up tonight?

Thanks for any help that can be offered!

James

Good luck anyway.

are you soure that a usual tyre will fit?

I'm pretty sure that my taurus with 195/50 wont fit, especially not without removing the cover.
