480 Cabrio Coming to the UK!!

It's just been announced, as part of the 80th birthday celebrations for Volvo, Volvo Cars Heritage will be coming over to the UK with some ultra rare Ovlov's. The 1990 480 cabrio, will be joined by the P1900 drophead and the 445 Valbo Drophead.

All this is at the NEC's Classic car show from the 9th to 11th of November. Again flying the 480 flag My GT will be on the Volvo Enthusiasts Stand

, got fed up with people passing the stand year before last saying that that Volvo never made a GT 480

! The uninitiated!

If the GT doesnt exist i must be driving a cloud to work everyday...

I'll be there (not saying which stand i'll be with) but i'll be coming over, last year i looked but there were no 480s anywhere

Will be nice to see the Cabrio for real...get my camera ready me thinks!!

Ad, I think a few flyers wouldn't go a miss. The Volvo Enthusiats Club is always promoting membership anywayso a bit of interclub liasing wouldn't go a miss. The VEC will be going to the 80th Birthday celebrations at Gaydon later on this year. It seems it has almost been taken over the by the Volvo Owners club and other clubs are being treated like the poor relations! Word around the camp fire is the Volvo Performance car club have already pulled out of going!

So if anyone is up for making an effort on the club part it would be great to see a good few 480's making an appearence!

It's Volvo Heritage coming over, and they look after the gothenburg museum, I asked some of the officials in the clubs and they all think it's the blue one from the museum.
