Re: The car does not start up.
Start with the basics - do you hear the fuel pump activate when you turn the key so the electrics are on, but not actually turning the starter? (don't know if it's audible on all cars though - mine is) Have you checked that you're getting sparks at the plugs? If you aren't, or they are weak, time to check your HT leads, distributor cap and rotor arm for damage/wear. Also check the battery has sufficient whoomph (not just charge in Volts but ampage too) - always worth checking this basic stuff before talking about knackered fuelling systems <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... s/wink.gif ALT=";)"> - Let us know the results... Remember I got that sporty fuel regulator with the turn screw!! I tired turning it more and less but no change.

I took the hoses off and there dry so I sucked and sucked and then age's later the petrol came up (tastes like shi*) Also when I put more petrol into I did not hear that vacuum noise when u open the fuel cap.

I checked all the fuses but I found some way way under the dash and it was the fuel pump. (panic over) Thanks for your help. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D"> <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /happy.gif ALT=":D">
