Air Filter

As most of you know my 480 idles like shite. I think I cracked it I removed the IDLE valve and it's hoses and washed them and run it again and I noticed it was better. I then removed the airbox & filter and now the car idles just fine. The airfilter was dirty and looks damaged (no idea how) I know it's very bad to do this but I'm just testing and it's helping. The car is super loud and kinda sporty but I will install a new filter on the end of a pipe. The car has just gotten worse over the last few days and it just got me down and now I feel much better !!

Very true. when in drive the car will creep forward. Hold the brake and the car will stop but the load is still on it so the rpm drops alittle. cool because the car moves before a manual has time to change into 1st. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... tongue.gif ALT=":p">

we jus leave it in 1st and have fun as we slam it into 2nd then 3rd:speed 85mph slam it into 4th upto 100+ trust me we did it on an airfield(not on the road though cos it is Elligal! <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/im ... /smile.gif ALT=":)">

Not all automatics will creep forward. The real automatics do thid not. And the real automatics are the DAF variomatics and Volvo CVTÂ´s. These automatics alter the transmissionratioÂ´s to the wheels without changing gears like the "normal" auoboxes do. And some other makes that use the van Doorne Transmatic may also not be creeping.
