Will any Momo fit?

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Will any Momo fit?

Post by Dan the 480 Man » Thu Sep 07, 2006 6:38 pm

As the title states really.

If i buy a Momo wheel from somebody with a Golf for example, will it still fit as long as i have the correct Volvo boss for it? I presume that the Momo steering wheels are a universal fit, it's just the boss that defines the car?

i.e. Golf Boss-->Any Momo Wheel, Volvo Boss--> Any Momo Wheel

Forgive my ignorance, i'm just after a Momo, and i've found one, just don't want to end up wasting my money!

:D

And it say's Momo in the middle, plus it has the darker stripe at the bottom. :D

What's the deal with these Momos? I've noticed a few of you have them...

That is, what's so special about them? ;)

@ Mart-is it much bigger than the Volvo one? Or is it about the same size as the standard 480 wheel?
