What are the best wheels!

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

I think Castors go well on the 460 CD,thats about it though.

I voted Vesa, close between that and Vega,Taurus of course are tops too!
One thing that Ad Brasco was doing to his when I went to his place was cleaning the insides of the wheels too. That makes Taurus take on a different dimension.

1. Vesa - For what it's worth, ever since I saw the Vesa rims on a GT, I'm determinded to have a set of these on any 480 I own in the future. They are a lovely wheel! :volvo:

2. Pollux - Second up would have to be the good old standard Pollux. I think they suit the shape of the 480 just neat.

3. ? Castor ? - Wouldn't mind seeing a set of Castor rims on a 480?

Anything else doesn't really do it for me I'm afraid. :(

Is it possible to fit rims off other Volvos onto a 480s?

I like the special wheels that come in the boot. I need 3 more to make a set but i hear the handling is amazing with all 4.

@ Pol You are more barking than Battersea matey! Keep em coming I say!

@ Robin I dont know where theres a set exactly, but if you keep an eye out for a 440 or 460 CD thats breaking,of the pre-facelift type.Theres always places like Salvo and other main Volvo breakers too,as if you didnt know that!
