just bought a celeb off ebay wih bashed in front.

I have an ES that would supply all parts for rebuild (also have turbo that is not going to be touchd) My problem is that it is a perfectly good es couple of niggly electrical faults (bad earth* that havent got round to yet but lots of work on suspension tyres etc. can i justify putting a celeb on the road at the cost of aperfectly god es

yeh, it'll probably give you a better return on your investment in years to come. Go for it mate!

Also, ES's are easier to find, if you ever need another one. Either way one of them has to go, and there's only a few hundred celebs compared with tens of thousands of ES's.

I have a '93plate black 480T, a good car all round, but stuck in 2nd gear. Could be the perfect donor for your celeb (and spares for you Turbo as well!)

Well actually yes it does - there are relitavely few celebrations on the road aand anything that can be done to keep them that way must surely be a good thing - you said in you first post that you were angry that i got te car because you wanted the leather yet you didn't even bid on it

i actually didnt but that was due to the price got to when i last looked. to me my car is the most special onthe road and if i can do anythig to make our lives tgether more enjoyable i will.

i wouldnt butcher a celebration ligtly but that one looked wrecked

it may look wrecked but I am quietly confident that it will be back on the road within 4 - 6 weeks

- it may be a bit longer before it is sprayed - it has been well maintainted by previous owners with regular servicing etc I don't want to see all their good work go to waste - as regards ebay question - bidders list

good look with the rebuild and if you have any spare rom the es when you have strippd it i may be interested
