New owner of Celebration #467

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

New owner of Celebration #467

Post by AdamG » Sat Jan 22, 2022 8:20 pm

Hi, my name is Adam. I’m soon to be 21 and have just recently purchased Celebration #467 from a member of this group, Martin. I’m just writing here to introduce myself. I’m stupendously proud of the car and will be familiarising myself with her over the coming months, all the while devoting the majority of my time and money to making her look, sound and perform to the best of her ability!

Stoked and looking forward to becoming a part of the club!

Adam

Hi all,

I’d like to thank you all for the kind words on here. I’m currently obsessed with the car if I’m honest, I spend all day looking to improve it and browsing the forum for the many questions and queries I have regarding the car. It has been a blast so far and I am excited to refine the car and ensure that it is as beautiful as it can possibly be. I’ll be sure to post updates (and of course document) whenever I make any changes or modifications/repairs to the car.

Have a great day!

Adam

Well, your starting with a good example, so your probably better off than the average 480 owner! :hopping:

I’m still amazed at the wealth of info a simple search on here will bring back. It’s just a shame the images have long since gone.

Hello Adam,

I'm really pleased that you are genuinely excited by your purchase, and I knew from our first contact that you would be a suitably passionate person to take 'Nilani' on. As David (DC Walker) says, the car has had a lot of work done to her and she remains a good example which I am sure you will be proud of for years to come.

All the best!
