Hello,
As we know the 480, although created for the US, was never imported there for sales by Volvo. However there are a few of them lurking around.
2 at least in San Fransisco, a few around Dallas TX and last year my father spotted two together on a trailer driving out of Atlanta, GA, heading up I-85.
But are there any forum members on here that are currently located in the US and have a 480 over here?
Import red-tape makes it hard to import cars younger than 25 years into here so I'm interested in hearing from a 480 owner about how their cars got here, and whether they've got a regular title and registration or something a bit more gray.
I had a '86 ES a few years ago, quirky little vehicle, and would like another one albeit a more recent model if possible.
Any members in the US?

Re: Any members in the US?
A while ago I had contact with a guy from a Volvo dealer in the States. Some years ago he went to the Netherlands and took two 480's with him, a Turbo 88'r and a '88 ES.
The guy told me that they did research for a long time to find all the 480's in the States, and as he told me they found four cars (ex their two 88'rs) that officially being registered.
