A 480 nearly gets the chop

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

A 480 nearly gets the chop

Post by tfmorton » Wed Dec 03, 2003 11:48 am

Did anyone see Thunder Races on Discovery this week? A blue 480 was nearly chosen to be chopped in two and made into a centre pivot steering type vehicle. In the end they went for a VW Sciroco (or however you spell it)
I must admit I kinda wanted them to take the Volvo *LOL*
Ford Probe 24v V6
Ford Mondeo 16v
but no longer a 480 owner
