Must be Hunted down! :kill:

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

V nice.
There's a P1800S up the road from me, in really bad condition.
I haven't met the owner yet, but I hope to rescue it. :hopping:

Wish me luck all!

Hmm, looks better here.
but my hands itch no take a ironsaw and cut a lot from the front spoiler.
As others also say, the rest of the car is very good. Like the sideskirts and the open nose.

as earlier posted on the old board: I been mouthwatering running around a P 1800 ES for sale. It was standing in the showroom of a breaker nearby, and in very good condition.... spotless. It was (well, almost ;) ) like touching a bare naked lady, those curves. One thing also amased on this best ever scottish car: the lack of interior space. Not only the rear seats, but also the frontseats. may long leggs were stuck every where. Curious how such a big car can be so small inside. (but seen in its time, maybe allright: some time ago they had to pull me out of a MG midget, as I was totally stuck) Hmm. the only thing that stopped me was my (now ex) wife. To bad divorces are so expensive.....

luck

PS who started the thread about the P1800 ES ?
:)
luck,

Our snow plow looks okay from this angle.

I inquired about the 1800ES photos in daz480gt's website. I also mentioned there is a p1800S p the road from me.

I think I prefer the p1800 and 1800s to the 1800ES though.
All very nice though.

are you sure you want a scottisch car as an english man (to y consern nothing wrong with that)

(some S and ES were totally made at jenssen in scotland, lateron, only the body)

its a very sexy, but to modern standarts unpractical car (then again whats practical on "sexy" ?)

Been behind the wheel of one... the steering wheel has the angle of a boat, and is right on your lap. Your legs are stuck under some sharp edges of the verical dash.. there are no usable rear seats, because you have to slide the front seats almost agains them( I am only 1.90m, but have very long legs).... but then again waxing this car would be a very "S"-y experience I realy would like to own one, almost did, and i kind of regret this :( (a dream to have, feel and lookat.!)

luck
