The most annoying fag burn ever!!!!!

Had a bit of a tantrum today after some arse wipe decided to flick a fag on my bumper, the outcome was obvious, burnt through my new paint job, pulled the surrounding paint up, and just as a final insult burnt my number plate surround. It's only the diamiter of a 5p but still complete tossers!!!!!!

I go mad when people do that! I find that most the people who smoke in cars are inconsiderate...no offence to anyone on here, but 99% of the people i have gone past smoking have flicked ash on my bonnet or thrown a butt at me

Fortunately *touch wood* no damage as yet, but now i am paranoid

Thing is this happened when it was parked up at work! There is a flat overlooking the yard and fags are being thrown into our yard from one of the windows, i went round the suspect flat but no one answered. I must admit i do smoke quite alot, but very rarely smoke in my car (only on long journeys or stressful days

) mainly becuse i dont want to damage the interior etc or get those minging ash marks down the door!

Few months ago, when the car was stored at our apartments car park - someone has pushed a cigarette butt through the open window (I tried to keep it ventilated so it was open , under 1 cm) to the drivers seat. The fag was still burning of course. It burnt a nice hole on to the drivers seat.

I consider to be lucky that it didn't catch fire. 4 years of work would've been flushed away quite easily.

Yeah i said that, but finding the culprit is fairly difficult unless you see them do it!!!!!

could also be an act of vandilism !
one of my good mates had fags stubbed out on his car and totaly wrecked his paint job on the front at weston super mare

it would have been worth them doing it so we could have caught them doing it

If the driver of a car in front of me flicks the end of a cigarette out the window they get a good long full beam on their rear (and also people that throw a handful of rubbish out their window).

It's like that advert on TV, you wouldn't do it in your home, or your office, so whats different out on the street? At the end of the day, littering is against the law and comes with a fine.

Back to the cigerattes, for some reason when I used to drive a Mini, everytime a cigarette end was throw out the window it always landed and bounced on the bonnet / wing. Must be a Mini thing as I haven't had anything land on the 480 or 850! As if that isn't bad enough they don't even consider putting the lit end out before throwing it away making it quite a hazard.

I also hate seeing KFC / McDonalds / Burger King take-away bags and their ex-contents, including drink cups, dumped and spread out over the road. The very people that do this deserve to loose control of their car, flip over a few times and find out how it feels to be run over by a truck and splat all over the road, then wait a full weekend defenceless for a grumpy old council worker to come out and lift your remains.

100% agree

I go mad at people flicking their butts at my car, and they DO suffer for it! Tho in their minute mentallity they probably have no idea why i have gone mad and just assume i am another bulshy volvo driver!!

Oh no... this isn't the most annoying fag burn ever.

I had a mate at uni who was driving along, smoking a fag, and when he finished he flicked it out of the window.... or would have done, had the window been fully open. It wasn't, and the fag ricocheted off the window, landed in between his legs and started burning his crotch... as the poor guy was frantically trying to get it from under him, he went off the road and wrote his car off.

I don't this his insurance covered him for gross acts of stupidity either...

Sorry, guilty as charged..........

I spend most of my day driving a cab. In these cabs there are no ashtrays. I smoke way too much and as there's usually no time to take a small cigarette break most of that is in the car. My fags always end up outside then.

I must say though that i do always check my mirrrors before flicking out my ashes or the butts. Escpecially for motorcycles this can be dangerous.

I know its not actually environmentally sane, but its not called an addiction for nothing.
