oh man gt needs tlc !!!

Here you can talk about the joy owning a Volvo 480 brings. Non-technical discussions take place here, like what is the difference between an ES and a S version.

Aw, poor lil thing!! Least they are trying to sell it on, rather than splitting it! Hopefully someone will give it a good home!

There are a number of mechanical devices which increase sexual arousal, particularly in women. Chief among these is the Volvo 480 ;)

I am not a big fan of air con when it goes wrong-but when we have the odd hot day, i love it, and the dehumidifier is VERY useful if i have straightened my hair

Ah 2+2 =4. Jim, Why is A.C such a problem? If you dont like it don't use it. It seldom works on older cars anyway. Surely if you are such a 480 fan you must be finding good ones thin on the ground and the newest 480s tend to have A.C. Would you rather drive something else rather than have to have a 480 with an A.C button on the dash? just curious. :)

love the sunroof fresh air is so much better.

air con just breeds bacteria and should be disinfected annually. Plus its just another thing to go wrong.

there are a few good 480s out there but the prices are rising :cryhard:

Yeah, could be a good project ... looks in a sorry state, you'd think they'd at least inflate the front tyre for the picture! haha!

I'd second that ... I really missed the sunroof!

In my opinion, air con is just heavy, clutters the engine bay, rarely works and not really needed in Scotland! If it does work, you've to pay to maintain it.

Sunroof everytime!
