Hi guys, just trying an open air on my babe, yep, this afternoon, I borrowed an open air filter from an Honda civic guy and put it on my turbointercooler ( the open filter was allready with a rubber collector 70 ) mhmhmhm wow it is trhu i could feel the engine running much beter en just a litle more power ( nice sound 2 ) so , I allready oredered an K&N last week it as 2 come in this day :-))<br>There is something I like to ask :-)) under the motorhood there is a kind of spoon ( 2 lateral & 1 in the center ) I took out the lateral's one's but the center one is connected with 2 whires 1 is ground I can see that ?& the other one is going somewhere, what's the meaning of the whires 'cause I will put that spoon out ( old & dusty ) as anyone a tip/explain ?? :-))<br>Well Greetings<br>Stargate26 <p></p><i>Edited by: <A HREF=http://pub32.ezboard.com/ustargate26.sh ... rgate26</A> at: 9/3/02 9:00:30 am<br></i>

And i've had an JR open air filter on my 480ES for 2 years now.<br>Works fine, although i had to relocate it from the original place.<br>The JR filter is fitted to the throttle housing, and there it gets too much hot air.<br>Beside the radiator on the left side (seen from front) there is a plate.<br>I made a hole in this, and put the filter all the way in the front of the car to get as much cool air as possible.<br>It requires some aditional hosing, but works fine, with a nice torque in the low end, and nice sound.<br><br>RH.<br> <p></p><i></i>
