Celebration and heated seats?
Hi all,
I am off to look at a Celebration tonight. It's described as "maroon colour" so I guess it's the metalic one. I was wondering if heated seats are part of the Celebration spec? I know A/C is.
Keep well,
Will

not true. I've got italian leather seats in mine and they are without heating ...
Luckely I have a pair of heating elements lieing around, so they will be fitted before the winter :p

OK, every bloody 480 except those with Italian leather seats.
I think the leather on mine is from Smethwick.
If you've got standard seats (I can't vouch for seats I've not seen or heard of before) then you should be able to flick a switch that makes it feel like you've pee'd yourself. If you've got Italian leather, as Bakke says you can inprovise with heating elements (or genuine piss).
I'm 6ft and there's plenty of space and the guy I bought my first one from was about 6ft4, there's loads of adjustments on the drivers seat so you will find one to suit you (see disclaimer above).

My handbook says 14C. That might explain why they didn't work when I tried them the other day. That means that here in Adelaide they wouldn't come on very often. I assume the temp is the outside temp? Does anyone know if this can be adjusted, or if they can be rigged to come on whenever you press the switch, regardless of temp, like they did on my 1997 SAAB. My wife likes having a warm bum.stu chacks wrote:
The heated seats only work once the temperature drops below a certain level (think it's 13oC) so may be that, or more likely one is bust, all of mine have had at least 1 seat not heated.
