Radio Code

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Radio Code

Post by Frank Naylor » Thu Sep 22, 2005 8:46 pm

Every time I turn off my radio I have to enter the code when I turn it back on. The radio stays on after the ignigtion is turned off and the key removed. any one have any idears? Every thing else on the car is working perfect after fixing info centre, rear lights and a show room polish, would put a pic on here if I knew how.

Cheers

Yeah I guessed that much but is it normal and why does it keep asking for the code?

You need to connect the memory wire up, its most likely that the constant (memory) and switched power (ignition) wires are the wrong way round.
