Need some more sub bass

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Need some more sub bass

18" driver, 145litres, tuned to 38Hz bass reflex about 98db 1w/m. Powered from a home made amplifier delivering 150watts RMS into 8ohm load. Stupidly loud (subject was sarcasm ) Actual bass bin can handle 600-800 watts if you stick in a high pass of 35-40Hz but not got any super powerful amplifiers.

Temporary install as it was just in there over the weekend after doing a rave

Could I borrow your car?
I need it to kick start my plan for world domination. My first step, illogically, is to round up any surviving members of N'Sync - lock them inside a confined space with a high SPL sound system - and then play their albums on repeat, ever louder until they haemorage internally.
I'll put down plastic sheeting...

i was thinking of using home stereo woofers since they are cheaper than car ones but could not get past the 4 ohm vs 8 ohm problem. i guess you figured it out by building you own amp. good job.
