Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Nice idea. You will need to be careful if you have rear passengers though without speaker grills.

Sanp(ish) I mutilated the storage bins so the speakers slotted in flat - but half the sound pressure went into the car walls rather than at my ears which upset me - so now I just have empty holes to fill up with something else - your install may well be the way I go!
Now the fun you'll have with all the bass running through the passenger seats... get some females in and play tracks with lots of 33Hz bass in them...

33 Hz is too deep for any 6x9 (at least for my jbl). they are adjusted to play up from 100Hz (first i wanted to make a complete enclosed volume, but it is not so easy on this place because of the seatbelts)
even my bass box can only play up from 45Hz.

Naff box!
My 6 1/2 can drop to 65 and 6x9 side rears 54 but i ca them at 80 or 100 hz on a slope gradient of 12 or 18.
My JL W6v2 drops like a good un! rattles your teeth.
