New amp setup

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

Um, yes. But not with audio stuff - I wouldnt know one end of an amp from another, let alone whether it was passive or not.

Unix, The Internet, Networking, Arcade stuff, Speed cameras, Horses, drums - I could out tech most people on these, just not silly car audio.

:P

SanPhire, i can just ask why dont you just replace your current alternator with a Volvo 440 diesel one which is rated around 150 amps?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... eName=WDVW

email him and check the output.

Now there's a nice solution!
I didn't realise the diesel baby had so much current coming out the altenator - reckon that'll save me a lot of bother!
The diesel altenators fit straight onto the aircon petrol arrangement d'ya reckon?
