Speaker sizes?

Here you can post things about ICE (In Car Entertainment). Like how to install GPS navigation, a DVD-player and other yuppie-stuff. This category might be moved to "those other things" in the end...

only thing you need to watch for is if you get speakers with a large cone, or 2-way/3-way as these can prevent the mesh cover from clippinbg back in
1996 Mini Classic 1275.

Just spotted these on Ebay, apparentley gives you a bit more flexibility with front speaker installs enabling you to fit from 100cm upto 130/165 or even 6*9's.
Anyone tried these out?

Stu.

I just purchased these for my rear cards:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... %3AIT&rd=1

they should fit in behind the volvo grille no problem!

Got some kenwood ones in the front, that just fit in behind the grille and they sound really good for their size, they were only £5 from the scrappie too - amazing as they were practically new!!

the standard volvo rear speakers have just started to crackle a bit tho so though it was time to replace them, should have quite a nice sound in the car now.

:D
No longer in a 480!

They look quite nice. A new sound system for the ES and the Celeb are on the books for this year but don't know if it is going to get done
