Volvo 480 Club Europe

Hi all

I have just received a spare door handle assembly. I need the tweeter but I am not sure how to remove the assembly from the door to either, swap the lot or just replace the tweeter (in this case I need to get to the but at the rear anyway).

Yes but to get to the screw at the rear I need to remove the assembly and this is what I am not sure about.

Tomorrow is Saturday so I will have time to look anyway

There should be a screw securing the black bit to the door (often missing) and it is also clipped in. So you need to look in the recess where the grab handle is‎ and you will see a few bits which you can persuade outwards then jiggle it outwards. 

Good luck. It should just clip back in then put the retaining screw back in. ‎

Be careful of the clips at the bottom of the door, if you still have them intact. Ideally prise them off at the back rather than try to clip the door card back into them. ‎They are unavailable as you might imagine, so try not to break them and rejoyce if they are intact!
