Hey Joolz , Seen Rory years ago at Rock City in Nottingham well by the end of the night I didn't see much at all

A subwoofer is something you make in your garage to pass the time ! You can have it thumping like the
young ones do or you can use it to enrich the bass of your music.

It also lowers your 480

I have to say it really pis**s me off when a car with one of these set-ups comes along side me, or passes me while I'm having a nice quiet walk. If the people who spend megabucks on sound systems would spend the money instead on improving their driving, the roads would be a lot safer.

I've just started moving all my stuff over from my Mini into the 480 whilst its off the road for the winter... had a reeally good idea to get a "stealth" sub in too!

Can't wait!

Ye i wanted to pop a sub in mine so i could annoy old people

sadly the lack of a parcel shelf means its a bit more involved!

I recently got my 480's sound system upgraded, Infinity spears to replace the stock door speakers & a pioneer sub that fits nicely under the drivers seat (TS-WX11A). A definite improvement.

sorry but "if it's too loud your too old"........ I'm 57

jvc head unit 4 x 45 watts driving standard volvo speakers that sounded great.
then after a week of boredom I dropped an unknown very large amp (switched to mono to drive single bass speaker)on the floor behind passenger seat (I dont take passengers in my volvo they say it's to loud) and filled half the boot with a very large speaker in a ported cab, the sound improved a great deal, my rear roof lining is falling down, I can't see out of my mirrors and my ears are bleeding........it's bloody brillaint

sub woofer..........oh that word really makes me angry!
sub? submarine or sub sonic? no!
and woofer is a stupid american term for Bass speaker!
seriously though even at normal listening levels it sounds stunning!

and all this cobblers about loud music affecting your driving is usually said by the same people who can't text while their driving
